Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the iotaTONE application, the iotatone.com website, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”) provided by Bond Institute Music Corporation (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and create a password to register. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.

2. The iotaTONE Application

iotaTONE is a paid application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Your purchase is subject to the terms of the applicable store. The app includes one bundled General MIDI soundfont. Additional free sound packs are available for download within the app to registered users.

3. Sound Packs and Downloadable Content

Free sound packs provided through the Service are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use within the iotaTONE application. You may not redistribute, resell, or repackage these sound packs.

Some sound packs are provided under third-party open-source licenses (such as MIT). Where applicable, the specific license is displayed alongside the sound pack. Those license terms govern your use of that content.

4. Forum and Community Content

The iotaTONE forum is provided for discussion among users. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your posts on the Service. You retain ownership of your content.

You may not post content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Lessons and Membership

Some educational content may require a paid membership. Membership pricing and terms are displayed on the membership page. We do not currently offer automated billing; all membership purchases are handled through direct contact.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the iotaTONE application.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ accounts.
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

iotaTONE, its interface, design, and original content are the property of Bond Institute Music Corporation. “iotaTONE” and “Bond Institute” are trademarks of Bond Institute Music Corporation. You may not use our trademarks without written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bond Institute Music Corporation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the iotaTONE application.

10. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@bondinstitute.io. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Manitoba, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
