the Octave Error!

iotaTONE's new instrumental playing technique gives rise to a new mistake. usually octaves are accepted as harmonious, but when you're trying to create a known melody, playing the note in the wrong octave still sounds very wrong. iotaTONE makes some playing techniques easier, others more challenging. the new 'octave error' will likely be the bane of any serious iotaTONE player! Enable "octave frames", and perhaps decrease the octave range of the instrument to stabilize / minimize the chance of octave errors. With practice over time, I predict the young virtuosi won't even consider this an issue! -- "it's a feature, not a flaw."
